SMS Messaging Consent Workflow

Foragentis.com obtains explicit verbal consent for all transactional SMS messaging as follows:

Opt-In Process

  1. After a voice conversation, the agent asks: "Would you like me to send you the video link via text message?"

  2. The customer must provide verbal affirmation ("Yes," "Okay," "Sure," etc.)

  3. The agent then instructs: "Great. To confirm your permission for this one-time text message, please press '1' on your keypad now."

  4. The customer presses '1' (DTMF keypress) for final confirmation

Proof of Consent

The DTMF keypress action is logged to our internal database with a timestamp and associated with the customer call record. This creates an auditable record of explicit consent.

Sample Message

"Hi [Name], here is the video link you requested from our agent: [LINK]. We won't text you again. Reply STOP to opt out."

This process ensures compliance with CTIA guidelines and carrier policies.
